One item at a time
तीन तरह के निशान हैं। हरा मतलब वाटिका में पहले से है। नारंगी मतलब आमतौर पर परिवार अपनी तरफ़ से करता है। लाल मतलब फ़ोन पर पूछ लीजिए, हम अंदाज़ से नहीं लिखेंगे।
Three kinds of marks. Green means it is already here. Orange means the family usually arranges it. Maroon means ask on the phone, because we will not write a guess.

Permanent stage and mandap
स्टेज कंक्रीट का बना हुआ है, सीढ़ी और रेलिंग के साथ। हर कार्यक्रम में नया स्टेज बँधवाने की ज़रूरत नहीं पड़ती, और बारिश में भी वह वहीं खड़ा रहता है।
The stage is built in concrete, with steps and railings. There is no need to have a fresh stage tied up for every function, and it stands where it is even in the rains.

The whole lawn in paver blocks
एक कोने से दूसरे कोने तक फ़र्श पक्का है। न कीचड़, न धूल, न साड़ी में मिट्टी। बुज़ुर्ग और औरतें आराम से चल पाती हैं, और कुर्सी टेढ़ी नहीं होती।
The floor is laid end to end. No mud, no dust, no mess on a saree. Older people and women walk on it comfortably, and the chairs do not sink or tilt.
ढका पंडाल और भोजन की जगह

लॉन के एक तरफ़ ढका हुआ हिस्सा है, वहीं भोजन लगता है। ऊपर छत है, इसलिए धूप और हल्की बारिश दोनों में खाना चलता रहता है।
One side of the lawn is covered and that is where the food is served. There is a roof over it, so the dining carries on in sun and in light rain.
मेहमानों और बारात के लिए कमरे
Rooms for guests and the baraat
कपड़े बदलने, सामान रखने और बुज़ुर्गों के आराम के लिए कमरे हैं। दूर से आई बारात के लिए यही सबसे काम की चीज़ होती है।
There are rooms for changing, for keeping luggage and for the elders to rest. For a baraat coming from far away this turns out to be the most useful thing on the property.

स्टेज की लाइटिंग और साउंड की व्यवस्था
Stage lighting and sound arrangement
स्टेज पर रोशनी और साउंड की व्यवस्था होती है, इसलिए रात का कार्यक्रम अँधेरे में नहीं रहता। यह रेट में शामिल है या अलग से, यह कॉल पर तय होता है, क्योंकि हर कार्यक्रम अलग होता है।
Lighting and sound are arranged for the stage, so an evening function is not left in the dark. Whether this is inside the rate or charged separately is settled on the call, because every function is different.
मेन रोड पर, गाड़ी सीधे गेट तक
On the main road, vehicles reach the gate
वाटिका मेन रोड पर ही है। बारात की गाड़ियाँ, बस और ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली सीधे गेट तक आ जाती हैं। मेहमान को आख़िरी मोड़ पर उतरकर पैदल नहीं चलना पड़ता।
The vatika sits on the main road itself. Baraat cars, a bus and a tractor trolley all come right up to the gate. Nobody has to get down at the last turn and walk in.
कुर्सियाँ, मेज़ और कवर
Chairs, tables and covers
फ़ोटो में कवर लगी कुर्सियाँ लगी हुई दिख रही हैं, पर वे उस दिन के कार्यक्रम की हैं। कुर्सी वाटिका से मिलेगी या आपके टेंट वाले से आएगी और उसका रेट क्या रहेगा, यह कॉल पर तय होता है, क्योंकि हर कार्यक्रम अलग होता है।
The photo shows chairs with covers laid out, but those were for that day's function. Whether the chairs come from the vatika or from your own tent contractor, and what they cost, is settled on the call, because every function is different.
खाना और हलवाई
Food and the halwai
भोजन की जगह ढकी हुई और तैयार है। अपना हलवाई लाना है या हमसे व्यवस्था करानी है, दोनों पर बात हो सकती है। कॉल करके बता दीजिए।
The dining side is covered and ready. Bring your own halwai or let us arrange it. Either works, just tell us when you call.
डीजे, बैंड और नाच-गाना
DJ, band and music
डीजे और बैंड के लिए जगह की कमी नहीं है, लॉन खुला है। यूपी के नियम के तहत रात 10 बजे से सुबह 6 बजे तक लाउडस्पीकर बजाने की अनुमति नहीं है, और वाटिका इसी नियम का पालन करती है।
There is no shortage of space for a DJ or a band, the lawn is open. Under the UP noise rules, loudspeakers are not permitted between 10pm and 6am, and the venue follows the rule.
सजावट
Decoration
स्टेज पक्का है, इसलिए सजावट का आधा काम पहले से बना-बनाया मिलता है। फूल, परदे, गेट और लाइट कौन लगाएगा और उसका ख़र्च क्या रहेगा, यह कॉल पर तय होता है, क्योंकि हर कार्यक्रम अलग होता है।
Because the stage is permanent, half the decoration work is already standing. Who puts up the flowers, the drapes, the gate and the lights, and what it costs, is settled on the call, because every function is different.

मेन रोड पर खुली पार्किंग है, गाड़ियाँ सीधे गेट तक आती हैं।

ये सब घर के हिसाब से तय होते हैं और आमतौर पर परिवार ख़ुद कराता है। रेवती में इन सबके लोग मिल जाते हैं, नाम पूछ लीजिए तो जो जानते हैं वह बता दिया जाएगा। सिफ़ारिश का कोई पैसा नहीं लिया जाता।

रेट कितना है? What is the rate?
रेट फ़ोन पर बताया जाता है। तारीख़, कार्यक्रम और मेहमानों की संख्या पर हिसाब बदलता है, इसलिए एक नंबर वेबसाइट पर लिख देना किसी के काम का नहीं होता। कॉल कीजिए, सीधा जवाब मिलेगा।
The rate is quoted on the phone. It moves with the date, the occasion and the number of guests, so putting one figure on a website would not help anyone. Call and you will get a straight answer.
कितने लोग बैठ सकते हैं? How many people can sit?
800 से 1200 मेहमान बैठकर खा सकते हैं। कुर्सियाँ किस तरह लगाई जाती हैं और भोजन किस तरफ़ लगता है, इससे यह संख्या थोड़ी घटती-बढ़ती है।
800 to 1200 guests can sit and eat. The figure moves a little with how the chairs are laid out and which side the food is served.
बारिश में क्या होगा? What happens if it rains?
फ़र्श पूरा पेवर ब्लॉक का है, इसलिए पानी गिरने पर कीचड़ नहीं होता। भोजन वाला हिस्सा ढका हुआ है और स्टेज पक्का बना है। खुले लॉन के लिए क्या इंतज़ाम रहेगा, यह कार्यक्रम से पहले बैठकर तय कर लेना ठीक रहता है।
The floor is paver block end to end, so rain does not turn it to mud. The dining side is covered and the stage is built in concrete. What to do about the open lawn is best settled in the meeting before the function.
दूर से आई बारात रुक सकती है? Can a baraat from far away stay over?
कमरे हैं और वाटिका 24 घंटे खुली रहती है। मेहमानों और बारात के लिए कमरे उपलब्ध हैं। कितने कमरे चाहिए, कॉल पर बता दीजिए।

तारीख़ पक्की कैसे होती है? How is a date confirmed?
बात तय होने पर अग्रिम देकर तारीख़ रजिस्टर में आपके नाम लिख दी जाती है, और रसीद मिलती है। पूरा तरीक़ा बुकिंग वाले पन्ने पर चार क़दम में लिखा है।
Once the terms are agreed, an advance puts the date in the register against your name and you get a receipt. The whole process is written out in four steps on the booking page.
